What does the Reliovana Hand Massager actually do?
It sends gentle EMS pulses through the muscles around the wrist and hand. It is a general wellness and comfort device — it is not a medical device and it does not treat any condition.
How long do I use it for?
About ten minutes a session. Most people use it once a day, often in the evening or while working. You can use it more than once a day if you like it — start at a low intensity and see how it feels.
Will I feel it straight away?
You will feel the pulses immediately — that is the sensation the device produces. How relaxing you find it is personal, and everyone is different. That is why every order comes with 30 days to try it.
Can I wear it while I am doing something else?
Yes. It is completely cordless, so most people wear it while working at a desk, watching something, reading, or on a call. There is nothing to plug in.
Does it hurt?
It should not. There are 10 modes and 29 intensity levels, so you can set it anywhere from barely noticeable to deep. Start low. If anything feels uncomfortable, turn it down or take it off.
Fit and use
Will it fit my wrist?
The band is adjustable with a velcro closure and a thumb opening, so it fits both smaller and larger wrists without pinching.
Left hand or right hand?
Either. The wrap works on both wrists.
How do I put it on?
Three steps. Slide your hand through the wrap with your thumb through the thumb opening. Fold the strap across and press it onto the black velcro patch. Press M to start, then + or − to set the intensity.
How do I charge it?
It charges by USB-C and a cable is included in the box. A full charge lasts through many sessions.
Can I wash it?
Yes. The control unit is magnetic and lifts off, so the wrap can be washed on its own. Let it dry fully before clipping the unit back on.

Who should not use it?
Do not use it, and speak with your doctor first, if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator or any implanted electronic medical device; are pregnant or may be pregnant; have epilepsy, a seizure disorder or a heart condition; have a circulatory or blood-clotting disorder or a metal implant in the area; or have broken, irritated or infected skin where the wrap sits. Stop using it and speak to a medical professional if you feel pain, dizziness or skin irritation. Keep out of reach of children.
